Naevik is an AI-agent endpoint security product operated by SensiSec Pty Ltd (ABN 88 663 013 063), a company registered in Australia (the “Company,” “we,” “us”). These terms govern your purchase and use of Naevik Personal and your use of the naevik.ai website and your Naevik account. By purchasing, installing, or using Naevik, you agree to these terms.
Naevik Team (the centrally managed edition for organizations) is offered under a separate agreement and is not covered by these terms, except where this site describes it.
You buy Naevik once and it’s yours. Each purchase is one license whose device limit equals the number of devices you chose at checkout (one if you didn’t change it). You get 2 years of updates; after that the app keeps working and you keep the last version you received.
15-day refund, no questions asked. Naevik is a security tool that reduces risk from AI agents — it is not a guarantee that nothing bad can ever happen, and you remain responsible for the agents you run and the policies you set.
When you buy Naevik Personal, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the Naevik software on up to the number of devices you purchased. Specifically:
Naevik activates online against our license service and then runs locally. Your account at account.naevik.ai lets you re-download the installer, reveal your license key, and manage which devices are linked. Enforcement on your device is never switched off by a licensing problem: if our license service is unreachable, the installed agent keeps protecting your machine. License state gates downloads and updates, not security.
You may not, and may not assist anyone else to:
For clarity: configuring Naevik’s policies however you see fit on your own machines — including permissive policies, break-glass overrides, or uninstalling it — is your right, not a violation of these terms.
Naevik enforces operating-system-level policy on what AI coding agents and the processes they spawn may run, read, write, and connect to. It is a risk-reduction tool, and we build it with the care an endpoint security product demands. However:
The Naevik software, site, and brand are owned by SensiSec Pty Ltd and protected by intellectual-property law. You own your data: your policies and your local audit records are yours, live on your device, and are governed by the Privacy Policy — in Personal, they never leave your machine. These terms grant you a license to use the software, not ownership of it.
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee, right, or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot lawfully be excluded. Where a non-excludable guarantee applies and we are entitled to limit our liability for its breach, we limit it to re-supplying the software or paying the cost of re-supply.
Subject to the above: the software is provided “as is”; we exclude all other warranties; and our total aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with the software or these terms is capped at the amount you paid us for the license in the 12 months before the claim arose. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of data, loss of profits, or losses caused by the actions of AI agents or other third-party software on your machine, to the extent the law permits these exclusions.
These terms apply for as long as you use Naevik. We may terminate your license if you materially breach these terms (for example, key resale or circumvention of device limits) and, where the breach is remediable, you fail to remedy it within 14 days of notice. You can stop using Naevik at any time by uninstalling it. Sections that by their nature should survive (ownership, liability, governing law) survive termination.
We may update these terms as the product evolves. The “Last updated” date above reflects the most recent change. Material changes will be announced on this page and, where appropriate, by email. Changes apply going forward; the license terms in force when you purchased (sections 3–4) are not retroactively reduced for licenses already sold.
These terms are governed by the laws of Australia. Courts with jurisdiction in Australia have non-exclusive jurisdiction over disputes, without limiting any right you have to bring proceedings under mandatory consumer protection law where you live.
